Yanbaru, a subtropical forest

The northern area of Okinawa Island called "Yanbaru", literally meaning "mountains and fields", is where a vast nature of subtropical forest still flourishes. You can find aerial roots dangling from Chinese Banyan trees and gigantic Cycads soaring in the sky. Enjoy yourself immersed in the pristine forest with subtropical trees and plants.
